As a result of the high illiteracy levels among the ladies the project realised that there was a need to educate the ladies on basic numeracy and reading in the local dialect. This would enable them to improve on their wellbeing and also make informed decisions in their day to day work and most especially for the ladies who are involved in small income generating activities.
1. To improve on the literacy levels of the members through the provision of basic education.
2. To enable the ladies make informed decisions through what they have learnt.
The idea was mapped up as a result of getting the ladies from the two site(CHAWOA&KWA) come together and support each other and also to learn from each other.
1. To encourage information sharing among the ladies from the two sites
2. To reduce on stigma
3. Provision of educational talks that is helpful to the members.
